Tags can be used to differentiate projects, custom statuses, or research areas. They are a great way of standardising data management across your workspace.
All tags created within a workspace will only apply to this specific one. If you want other members of your workspace to be able to pick from a list of tags, you'll have to pre-populate them first. There are no limits to how many tags you can create and associate with content!
Creating new tags:
From the left-hand side menu
Navigate to your content of choice (experiment, protocol, resource, inventory or order management)
Click on 'Tags' to reveal more options
Click on 'New Tag'
Enter the name of your tag
Click on 'Create'
Ta-da!
From the 'Tag Manager'
Navigate to Workspace Settings
Select which type of module between Experiments, Protocols, Inventory, Order Management, Devices
Click on Tags
Click "New Tag"
Et voilà!
