Setting the default workflow for a workspace
Now that you've configured your workflows, it's time to use them. Similarly to how you can set a default experiment template for a workspace, you can also set a default workflow! This means that whenever someone within the workspace creates an experiment, the workspace's default workflow will automatically be used.
To set the default workflow for a workspace:
Go to Workspace Settings
Click the Experiments tab
Locate "Default Status Workflow"
Click "Specify status workflow"
Select the appropriate one
Setting the default workflow for a specific experiment template
You can also choose a specific workflow for a particular experiment template. It ensures experiments created from that template will use that workflow instead of the default one. If an experiment template does not have a workflow, experiments created from it will use the default workflow for the workspace. If an experiment is created without a template, it will use the default workflow for the workspace. If there is no default workflow for the workspace, experiments created without a template will not have a workflow.
To set the default workflow for a specific experiment template:
Create or navigate to an Experiment template
Navigate to the "Status Workflow" tab
Click "Select Workflow"
Select the workflow of your choice
