Improved molecular editor, improved live experiments and more!

Improved Molecular editor

You can quickly add and draw molecules into notes/results and comment sections of Labstep. To get started, select the + icon and select Molecule.

The molecular editor can be used on desktop. A built-in menu quick access to the most common editing features and allow fast creation of complex molecules and reactions

Improved experiment workflow and live experiments

You can now start and finish individual protocols in your experiment workflow so you can track more precisely your progression. 


Live experiments now show the individual protocols in a workflow allowing you to jump into the step-by-step view directly from live experiments.

Other additions and fixes:

  • Your edit permissions for content is now shown to you in the table view.

  • No longer taken directly to the steps view in the step-by-step view on mobile.

  • Deleted projects are now accessible in the filter on the projects page.
